The Gratitude Dojo
“A transformational experience.”
“Well-produced at every level.”
Research shows that appreciation and gratitude builds resilience within ourselves and connectedness within a community or organization. The Gratitude Dojo is a two-hour gathering to practice gratitude together. There are twelve research-based and heart-centered stations for recognizing (“re-cognize,” i.e., to understand again) all the good there is in life, even in times of stress and uncertainty. Examples of stations:
Thank the Ancestors. Remember those whose choices and sacrifices brought you here today.
Money, Money. Be thankful for the money that comes into your life and what it brings.
Yum, Thanks! Savor the food that nourishes you.
Happy In Spite Of. Are you “happy if only” or “happy in spite of?”
The Gratitude Dojo can be a live event in your workplace or conference or a collective virtual course for remote workers or communities. Reach out for pricing and planning.

WOW! The gratitude dojo was a transformational experience. We’ve been practicing being grateful for years. But the collective energy of a group of people participating together increased the joy and power of our experience. We saw things we had not seen before and were able to drop deeper into our hearts.

I found the Gratitude Dojo to be an absolute delight! It unearthed opportunity for internal change. The echo of the assignments continues long after the course is complete. I still find myself pondering on some of the exercises.

“It’s easy in life to fixate on what’s not working or where we fall short. After those two hours of the gratitude dojo, I feel so strong and uplifted.
Christine
A beautiful and gracious evening, where a human can get her gratitude on in a series of self guided gratitude reflections.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from the gratitude dojo but as soon as I arrived I knew I was in the right place. I felt welcomed but not pressured so I was able to move at my own pace. This allowed me to sink into a place of deeper understanding and integration. What I gained was a new, clearer recognition of what is most meaningful to me - my community, my work, the quiet moments between activity - and how to nurture my energy for all of these parts of my life.

I thought I was practicing gratitude, but after the gratitude dojo, I began to feel a deeper sense of gratitude’s power. The experience of the dojo moved me from a superficial practice to one that I feel in my cells and being. I now understand the transformational nature of gratitude.
